Bulletin Submission Guidelines
Co-operating with these guidelines will help the editor work more efficiently and ensure that your articles are added to the bulletin properly. The bulletin will be completed by 10:00 am Monday morning prior to the Sunday post date and sent for proofing.
Sunday, October 11, Youth Ministry StF, Halloween Party and Save the date for Project Giving Tree
Sunday, November 1, Baptism on October 18 StG, John Smith Baptism photos from Church
Sunday, June 21, KOC StG, semimonthly (every two weeks) Monday meetings are suspended through the Summer
Sunday June 7, run weekly through Sunday July 26, Divine Mercy StG, Monday prayer meeting

Don’t be too wordy, but include, who, what, when, where, why and list contact persons and email in your bulletin article. Personal phone numbers should not be posted and it is recommended that even emails be made for the group and not be personal. For instance stgdivinemercy@gmail.com.
No acronyms for titles
I cannot use a pdf file. All articles must be in paragraph form in or attached as a Word Document or rich text if you are using open source.
If you cannot use a computer, you can mail a legible, handwritten (on lined paper) or typed article with the same criteria as an emailed article. It can also be placed in the Sunday collection basket.
One space after period (The rule is two on a typewriter, one on a computer)
Time is written as: example 7:00 pm
Dates are written out with no abbreviations
Deadlines see above.
Limited use of bold and NO underline or ALL CAPS.
Avoid passive sentences if possible. Example: The meeting will be at 7:00 pm or We are planning
to . . . Use instead: The meeting is at 7:00 pm or We plan to meet. . .
